Yeah yours looks right, the two tabs hanging from the tank serve only to index the bear claw and keep it from bowing out at the top.
You slide the BC up onto those tabs, apply pressure to it, line up the bolt holes in the BC tabs with the holes in the frame and get one of the bolts started. Starting at one end over the other makes the job easier, I think it's the back.
Then while still applying pressure to BC, line up front tabs and thread bolt.
The hole time you are carefully applying pressure to the claw to keep it up onto the top tabs, and to keep the bolt holes line up so you don't strip/cross-thread anything.
When the bolt holes are almost at max torque, shove the BC upward one last time to make sure it is on the upper tabs tight and cinch the bolts.
Stock BC fitting is an art, it never feels secure enough but it does stay on somehow, even over triple K&N's.
