Rode the bike home tonight as it is housed a few miles away. It's been there since I took her back last weekend. Rode home fine.

Put it in neutral and commence to backing it in to its space and the danged ignition cuts of again. Not while I was riding, just at home.

I cut the forks to the left and powers back up. Start, turn bars to center, power outage. Repeated this several times and did it the same place everytime.

Loose pin, melted out? Loose plug? Help. It is dark so I didn't investigate further.

Ditto on the ignition switch. The exact same thing happened to me at a motorcycle rally two years ago. Exact same symptroms. I disassembledthe switch housing right there at the rally and with some assistance re-soldered some bad connections on the bottom of the switch best as I could. Then I filled it full of clear sealer to cushion the wires to keep them from flopping so much especially when I let the front wheel down too hard.

It worked until I got it up to Baxter's for the upgrade and Triumph replaced it.

You're a lot closer to an unsecured border than are we sir. But I'll watch the news for more bad news from the great Southwest about un-armed citizens in your area being killed by foreign nationals. Until things change for the better, I ride the way I ride. God will be my judge, not thee.

O.K., now that personal editorials are out of the way........I just ordered the Eastern Beaver headlight relay for the H4 lamps and the Rocket III. Picked up a 40 amp relay(have my doubts about the rating) and just ordered a set of wireless remotes rated for 12v 6amps. We just tried the bike again and its worse now than before, inoperable would describe it best.

We took the fairing off and that chrome "yoke" above the headlights. Just waiting for stuff to arrive and install. I will try to get as many pictures of the process as I can for future reference materials.

Bikeless until then. :mad::mad::mad:

Just makes more sense to go this way than pay Triumph and the "shop" way too much money for another switch that is defective design.
