"Jackals nip at the heels of the lion when he is lying down, but they do not dare risk direct confrontation when the lion rises..."

Let us know if/when you figure out what happened.

We trudge on.

"Forgive them Lord for they know not what they do". The tables will be turned one day (kama), it may not involve the arsehole that you found but who cares about his opinion look what he's chosen to ride. We'd all like to know what caused it though.

Polaris is a Minnesotan company.
Perhaps you're thinking of Bombardier and Ski Doo?
Florida mightn't be the right climate to know much about snowmobile companies. :D

If memory serves, Bombardier is the parent company of Polaris which is the parent company of Victory.

Bombardier has many, many divisions from boat, airplanes, m/c, trains, etc.

Bombardier aircraft is now separate from the rest which is now just Polaris the owner of Victory. I'm not sure about the trains.

I had the pleasure of doing the receiving inspections on 6 new Bombardier aircraft (CRJ700's) last year near Montreal.

Man Josey I feel your pain ... a couple years ago when the ignition switch was in the process of failing (unknown to me at the time) she left me walking her like a dope in Philadelphia rush hour traffic. ARRRRRGG! I was so embarrassed that a Harley rider slowed to ask me if my "IMPORT" was broke.

It would come and go, run and die.... work for a couple days then just die on the highway. Ended up making the appointment and the dealer replaced the switch and all the keyed accessories under warranty. Never quit again.

Afterward I installed the ignition bypass wiring/relays to insure that it never happens again.

He was on a Vision; not just a Victory, but a Vision. Take heart in the fact that he looks like a goose every time he hops on it.

Thanks fellas and Gal. Time has taught me the grace to look upon such comments and consider the source rather than launching into a rage filled response. Part of being a Christian and a Rocket owner I reckon. With age comes knowledge and apparently temperament. We shall ride on with our heads held high, it is after all, a 2294 cubic inch beast. One of them asked and when I told them 2294 their eyes were in disbelief. Bet they went home and checked it out.
