Yep. Replaced the original Metz with an Avon about 2 weeks ago. Done about a 1000k's so far and very happy. Lightens up the front end, handling is brilliant. Don't know about the wet yet. Sunny and cold here on the south coast but no rain.
Rode out to the Nerriga pub yesterday which I thought was a good test. Up to 200kph they handled beautifully. Predictable and no surprises. I paid $235 fitted here in Moruya NSW, not sure how good that price is.
Well ,I've gone ahead and ordered it anyway. It was way cheaper than the Metz and the B/stone.
Whether it gets here on time for my weekend ride is another matter.

I've had 3 or 4 now. Much better than Metz and longer lasting. Tried the Bridgestone Exedra and was terribly disappointed so went back to the Avon. Mates really well with the Bridgestone on the back. Plenty of us are using it; Hanso, Mitch, Peter K I think and others. Lots been written about them on here in the recent past.........

I have had a Bridgestone G852 on the rear and I was happy with it.I would have got another but they only had whitewalls in WA so I got the Avon on the rear.
I have a Bridgestone on the front and Im not that impressed with the mileage
