There is a place on the left side of our bikes where you can put a powerlet outlet. Just take the bracket off, punch out the tab, pit the powerlet in and hook it to the existing wire cable. Easy enough. My guestion is, is there a fuse on that line?
on mine i just put a regular cig lighter there and ran the hot to the battery with a fuse on the wire and ground to the bracket also did the same on stb bike
There is actually a hookup right there dedicated for a powerlet outlet. Now I need ro figure out the best way ro clean the xontacts. A bunch of crud in them. Can not believe they did not have a protective cap on it!
Yeah, you'll have to wire a separate circuit for heated gear. I used an auxiliary fuse box wired for heated gear, Stebel horn, and heated seat. Much cleaner than running a bunch of wires off the battery.
