Auxillary plug?
That's settled then - it's the spider web removal adapter plug

I think it's just another auxillary plug, not a diagnostic. There are only two wires going to it so maybe it's typical Triumph thing where they forgot what to do with it.... 8)

He should have the dealer check it then because it doesn't seem to be working, unless of course he's riding too slow!!
