Anybody wish their R3T had more braking?

FYI, the first time I changed the brakes, I jst put them on and drove away. It felt like Harley brakes. This forum taught me how to burn them in. This made a huge difference. Now, I can brake hard enough to lock the front. You might want to make sure you are braking them in properly.

I thought stock brakes were ok for my riding style,
I fitted pretech 6pots front & rear just for appearance, I like my bike to look good cos I don't

I have only had to make two really hard, fast stops...the ABS on my worked fine and I had no problems slowing the beast down.

A complete sets of EBC metallics and a darkside rear makes mine stop better than any bike I have ever owned

I'm with you Elvis. One of the main reasons I went to the dark side was the rear on my R3T locked up when you touched it. Darkside tire shuts her down quick. That is, when I use the rear when pulling camper and wife hanging on.

I could use some adjustable levers and a bike this big should have linked brakes. My bike doesn't have abs for some reason, even though the dealer thought it did. Kawa dealer trade in.

I don't really miss more braking power than I have, plenty to lock up with now. Upgrading to braided steel lines is on the agenda though.
