I have been trying my best to plumb the depths of the internet for exhausts for my 2012 Roadster and today I bumped into this thing:

Classic & Custom Motorcycle Mufflers & Exhausts

I've never seen anything quite like it for the Rocket. I really like the combination of ceramic and chrome (though i do wish the spout was black). I can't find any info on this thing anywhere, probably because it's a made-to-order type deal. Are any of you cool kids exhaust dynamic geniuses able to tell me if this design looks functional or is this just a unique looking piece of crap?

No, but it looks interesting. It's a New Zealand outfit. Might need some extra heat shields across the engine block but I like the idea.

Nice looking T bars too.

Reckon it would cook your right knee .. heat coming back onto you would be pretty intense... especially if in slow moving traffic or at a red light. As far as how it flows .. seems a long way to send exhaust gas just to pump it out the back. But what would i know.

That is similar to what Cobba had in mind (we discussed it while stting at the campfire sipping my bourbon at SBK Philip Island last year shortly before the fatal day RIP Cobba) to do except he was planning to bring em down and forward from the exhaust ports combining into the collecter just before the peg rail and then a 3 inch pipe along under the rails back in to a single muffler

There's a lot of art + science to exhaust building, that looks like something someone thought would "look cool". I agree with Tomcat, why would you want to send it all that way?

As ugly as they are I would assume they perform well. Why else would you make such an ugly thing? I have so many questions. Are those equal length headers? What is the diameter? What rpm range were they designed for? How does the conical horn of a the muffler sound? Was any science or math used in this design? HOW DOES IT SOUND?
