I've got 22K on my '05 with only a whacky odometer for my trouble. Bike is ridden in a "sporting" manner.

There is an Output bearing poll here already and a Warranty Work required poll here somewhere.

Just ride!

33,000 and other than some Idle and tune issues nothing major so far

Thanks guy, keep em coming!

I know about the other polls, I just wanted some positive testimonials.

If you don't get out there and ride it hard it's gonna fall apart. :p

I don't think riding it hard hurts 'em too much . . . I punch mine a lot but don't ride real fast and don't do burn outs and wheelies . . . well I don't do burn outs. . . it tends to wheelie no it's on accord at times.

I only have 1600 miles on mine but I've only had it about a month and a half. Looking forward to many more fun miles . . . I just now settling in and really enjoying the ride.

Have fun!

about 14500 / 15000 on mine no problems
other then idle issue fixed 10, 000 miles ago
begin running good ever since .

sees 120 + @ least 3 times everytime
I'm out

5200 trouble-free miles on mine before the "incident", though I had the dealer adjust headlights when it went in for its 1st service.

I was hoping it was not a "if it did not happen yet, it will" kind of thing.

The time will come, however, when you're gonna' want to go farther faster and... 8)

I've had the bearing problem and from what I've heard, it's within a range of VIN #'s Mine's an '06 Classic purchased in the USA in April of 06. You might ask your dealer to check if you're withing the VIN range - even so, it was hit-or-miss: some of the bearings were installed backwards, some weren't (backwards installation prevented proper lubrication of the bearing). Hate to say it, but I think you'll have to wait and see. The good news is that from the time the bearing starts making noise, you have lots of miles before anything would affect safety. Mine failed on the way back to Chicago, IL from Myrtle Beach, SC (a 960 mi trip)...kinda sounds like a scraping noise at first and then gets louder. Some of the recent posts indicate Triumph is replacing the entire sub-assembly vs individual parts, so you shouldn't have to worry about metal shavings strewn about in the casing.

Bottom Line: Ride it like you stole it! And at the first hint of noise, treat it like the crown jewels and get it to your dealer. Honestly...before it would seize or cause a major breakdown, I think you'll have enough running time and margin for safety. IMHO
