Thanks for welcomes. Keep going into garage, sitting down & lookig & dreamig . Wife thinks im losing it !
 
Perfect riding weather here at the moment (if anything a tad warm today - 35C) but I still go and "check" on her most nights (several times); give her a wipe; check her out from all angles - the tank especially has good and bad views; marvel at how quickly the Metz is disappearing since I unlocked 1-3 etc etc. Plenty to do. Have you taken the tool kit out and polished all the bits yet? What about the mirrors - no end of fiddling needed there. If you haven't done it, lift the tank. You can even stand there with a spanner in your hand and look and feel like you're doing something important. I made up a short brace for the RHS so I can prop the side stand up on a block of wood and get the bike to stand upright and sit on it properly - but be careful you don't get caught making broom broom noises....
 
Cant ride anything nice here in England cos the roads are coated in salt & crap . one trip out & it will look 2nd hand with 100mls on trip !
