Just saw in notifications what you were going to post... No surprise there!
but glad you took hold of your senses an edited it
As I said There is only 7% difference between my bike and Mitch's (after he had a dyno tune) even with an exceedingly lean tune and that horrible power robbing Darkside tyre

I can only hope a few others got the same notification I did so we can see the real Phil

Yeah thanks buddy remember reading about that! the problem being that I haven had time lately to even go for a fifty mile ride, hopefully on Sunday was going to say tomorrow but just had phone call I am needed to cover another shift.... oh well at least it helps pay for my mods still to come

Yeah the idea I had was to try make the intial response time as quick as possible by having the main pipe aim at one muffler then as the pressure in there rises it will first flow to the lower pipe and then thru to the left pipe. I didn't want massive flow and loss the back pressure just wanted to improve the intial response and give overall better flow than the spaghetti style to the moon and back of the StainTune collector, I was never worried about how it looks cos the original heat shield covers it till I can get the guy to make copy's in stainless steel

A quick word of wisdom. Before you decide on ANY header or exhaust system design for your bike, you need to read, "Scientific design of exhaust and intake systems" by Smith and Morrison!

I have the newer "Third edition." This book is a"Must read" for anyone designing a system. The math is a bit over my head, but I understand the concepts put forth in the book. Once you know how to design a system that really works on your application, not just one that looks good, you will be HP and torque ahead!

I found my book on Amazon.com. I lucked out big time, as my book is like new and looks to have been owned by an engineer. Inside the original owner has done most of the math equations to completion in pencil.

This is a MUST READ book for anyone building a system. Once you understand what makes a system work, you will see most commercial systems are not designed right.

Thanks yeah, I am well aware there are limitation have kept the three muffler set up But having done a Few bikes up in the past and understanding of need to get good Flow yet retain backpressure to maintain ridability I am not out to create a HP Monster just to get the most out of her while retaining her 3 muffler Good Looks it ain't going to be a SilverBack Killer.. sorry I not interested in Bragging Rites, when finances Allow I will Look into chatting Lushy in SA and lok into giveing her a bit more Compression and longer duration Cams maybe a bit of valve work but I will see what he recomends because I have Yet to hear Bad word Spoken about Him By Anybody that has actually dealt with him, depending on his advice I will probally do most of the spanner work myself... I'll be happy with 200rwhp

I actually took her out for a short squirt this morning and while it doesnt seem much different down low when I got the revs up out on a nice little scratching road I looked down to see the tacho flying up to 8 grand in the blink of an eye in third and then later while coming out of a sweeper at 140klm gave her a bit and before I knew she gave a little squat in the rear and I was pulling 190..... yeah I think she is running nice, Got home after riding at a moderate pace back into town and the tyres were rather warm and a touch tacky... yup that was nice little squirt. Also since putting the PCV +AT I have noticed for the first time since owning the bike the pipes are running a nice dark gray not to lean and definatly not rich .. velly Nice

You will really like the PCV with the A/T! At least I do. My big thing with the exhaust manifold is if I'm going to spend the time and money building or buying a header, I want it to give me more HP and torque. If I'm only doing it for the looks, the stock "Log" manifold will work fine. I look at the "Bang for the buck" factor when I do a mod.

On my 2005 Honda ST1300, all the guys on the forums were spending $700.00 plus for Stayintune mufflers. Now they look nice, I'll give ya that, but they only add 3 RWH!!!! Three HP for $700.00! Not much bang for the buck!!!

Stop reading, start building. You need to have a new set installed for that trip to Vegas in the Spring. Otherwise, I'm going to make you follow me all the way. I imagine these Jardines will wear on you after a few hours...
