I will trade you the rain for the bugs. With all the rain we have received in Oklahoma here lately the bug population is horrible. Ride twenty miles and you have to stop and clean your visor off. Started to carry a small spray bottle with rags just so I can see were I am going. (LIKE THE BIKE)

Plenty of bugs around here too when it's warmer. Looks like I've been blasted with a 12 bore sometimes when I get home. Worst time I had was when rounded a bend and passed through the edge of a swarm of bees. They're pretty solid to hit, very sticky and worried where they'd gotten into.

You did a fine clean job!
The wet nuts must be a function of that tiny screen.
I have never experienced that behind my OEM shield. :p

The rain was driving down the tank and pooling around my nuts. I don't think it was the sports screen but you may be right. It could've deflected the rain around the edges.

OK @Blackthou, so you & Sonny have started a wash off competition? (glad it's just a wash off )
I got inspired to clean mine....

beautiful looking bike and a credit to you

Looks nice....In spite of what some people say, a clean bike is a happy bike! Beside, when you clean your bike it give you a chance to look things over closely and maybe see something that might need to be addressed.

I agree totally on all counts.

I have never had that issue with the OEM screen or the few times caught in the rain with no screen at all.
So then, EVERYBODY with a sports screen get out on the highways for an hour ride during a rain storm and let us know for sure . . .
