I've got way too many things going directly to the battery. Nicely soldered etc. but it's not the right thing. There's a discussion here about fuse boxes, but I wondered if there was a definite best answer about which additional fuse box to get, where to put it and how to fit it.

(these posts describe the box without naming it, or name it, don't say much about where it went). Are these guys all talking about the same box?

If anyone's done this, I'd love to hear about the details. I need about 4-6 fused supplies I think.

The bazooka is strapped on the side. I'm just worried about getting reliable current to the launch mechanism when the time comes to fire up.

Right-ee-o then. After looking at both, I just ordered one of these with a non-switching lead.

Don't need to bring it to the front, just have too many O-loops sitting on the battery. I'll let y'all know how I get on fitting it to the bike, and whether the connections are heavy-duty enough for say, heated clothing. The rating says it is..

Incidentally, one quick thing I've learned is to be sure to jam some old wire sheath (or something) under the nuts of the battery terminal before you add more that 1-2 o-rings. The bolt won't reach the nut without this and you'll have to fiddle/swear a lot more.. YMMV

This worked like a charm - it's under the left side cover. Just hanging at the moment, but I'll get it fixed properly soon, then get some pics up.

Appears to work just fine electrically, and its good not to have the piles of rings on the battery.
