ABS on a R3 anyone?

Has anyone heard of modifying a R3 or Triumph with ABS? I started riding again three years ago and all went well until last summer when I locked-up the breaks on my Scrambler while avoiding a collision--growing the new skin was not fun.

I read about the ABS systems for the Japanese bikes and wondered if anyone had tried to transition to...after my incident I would certainly consider such a mod. I have an 07 R3 Classic darksided for over a year now...

I'm not much of wrencher and the question may reveal, but I am learning since my local dealer went the way of the 'recession'.

I haven't heard of anyone "modifying" any Rocket to get fitted with an ABS system. I do know that the 2010 Triumph Rocket III Roadster will come standard with ABS and the 2010 R3T will "offer" ABS as an option.
