i had a similar situation about a week ago...came into a hard left uphill corner too hot...had to brake while leaning!!HATE THAT...new rear Exedra max too!..slid the arse out to the right while scraping the peg...a bit of opposite lock and she gripped and straightened up again...made my arse pucker a tad...took a couple of quick deep breaths and all was g!

...no. it was all my fault...too quick...braking at the wrong time into the corner a bit too hard and bingo....sliding..just for long enuff too make me stop breathing, then it was all good again.
Had the tyre been a problem i would have been sitting on the road. The tyre did all i was expecting it should.
I just love these bikes! You can flick them around when you need to and they respond well.
