Never lie about anything important, never cheat and always put in the hard work necessary to make any union endure!

Verbally reaffirm your love often and do your best to never go to bed mad with one another. Work things out when you disagree - resolve your differences promptly and little problems will not fester into big ones. It only takes one cancer cell to ultimately kill the entire being.

38 years for us, I shudder to think what would of happened if I didn't chase her until she caught me , probably a life of drunken debauchery and an early end

we coming up to 28 years...........and I have had the same thoughts... I know my life would have taken a different path for sure

married for 33 years haven't looked at another woman since(that's how fed up &disgusted I am with them all)truthfully been with my wife since july 4 1974 married for 33 years defintly very lucky I have her sure would not have or be where I am today without her thank you Karen!

What Phil said........ The first three years tend to be the hardest. Making adjustments in your lifestyle, friends, or ex friends, living together all calls for compromise. Its just life stuff that takes getting used to. Its like starting a new job but with better benefits. But at some point the dues is due..........

2. Get over thinking that you always need to be "right."

3. Ask yourself if what you're upset about now will matter next week or next year (see #1. Above).
