Congrats on the 36 years

On another note to you guys that have been married for a few I celebrate 17 Monday how many years does it take before you stop walking into traffic to end it
 
Congratulations. It is work on both sides to achieve this. I won't even mention which one I am on to, but I think I have a keeper as well. Well done

30 last April and still going strong...and to answer your question the urge never goes away so deal with it. As a matter of fact I was thinking just the other day "Hmmm...if I'd strangled her instead of married her I would have been out on parole 5 years ago. Oh well...hindsight is 20/20 I guess...nothing for it now but to keep on keeping on"

Think of it as being in a big traffic circle in rush hour traffic. You may not move far but you will always be going in circles......
 
Congratulations, It's been 34 for me. I don't know what she was thinking. But I'm glad she did.
 
Belated happy 36th anniversary to you and your bride, Sir! I don't know that bliss describes most successful marriages, because they all have their ups and downs, but there's nothing better than having a good and loving partner to share your life with.

Wrecka, it's about time that you gird your loins and step into the batter's box (sorry for the baseball euphemism)! After 4 years with your lady, you should have a good idea which way the wind is blowing!

Making it "legal" isn't really necessary to cement a relationship or even to deem it a committed one, but it sure does convey the ultimate measure of trust and respect for one's partner, in my view.

Me... I've 29 years on my contractual sentence to date and 32 years together overall with my better half, and no meaningful regrets about our partnership at all.
 
Congratulations! What advice do you have for someone who just celebrated their FIRST marriage anniversary last month? I am all ears!
