Well its right around the corner in 72 hours I will finally have my r3t. I wanted to go today but the weather would not allow it. I need to know a few things on my current kaw I have 4 inch kickback risers I had to cut the straps holding the cables on the bars to allow the extra room it worked great can I do this on the r3t. Are there any accessory ports on the rt3 like on the kaw there was one behind the headlight, one under the tank and one under the seat. One last question and I will stop I was looking on triumphs site looking at the service schedule is this correct a service once every 10,000 miles.

There are no risers available for the R3T yes, as far as I know. I think Rivco may be working on some.

No standard accessory socket. One is available and it plugs into the wiring harness just below the seat on the left side.

Initial service is 600 miles, then 10,000.

I wanted the black and white both shops in SC has them I think I am going to stick with the closest shop at only an hour away. The service schedule should save a bit more money to get some add ons. Nice risers would be a blessing any thing with a nice little kickback. No accessory ports thats may be a issue a small one it will just take a little while to run a few switched and constant leads. Thanks for the info

I'm not sure on the R3T, but there "should" be a circular plug covering a cut out for an accessory outlet just under the tank on your left side as you sit on the bike. It's in a black cover panel between the rear of the motor and the frame.

If you see the circular cover, there will be a plug for the accessory outlet right behind it. A standard accessory plug/cigarette lighter from NAPA or any other auto parts store will plug directly into this plug. However, the hole will need to be made a little bigger to fit the accessory plug/cigarette lighter into. I did this a couple of years ago on my RIII and it's worked great! It only cost me $4.00, complete with water resistant cover!...

My first add-on was passenger backrest/luggage rack. My wife won't ride without it. Next will be the highway bar/pegs. Then driving lights, air filter/tune boy/TOR....
Traded up from a Suzuki VL1500. Here's mine on the day I got her:

And on our first road trip, in the mountains:
