250 on the rear?

Metz and Avon do 240/50-16 and Bridgestone Exedra Max is 240/55-16. That's it. Bridgestone easily the best in my opinion. Avon really good too but I found it not so sure footed in the wet and didn't last as long as the BS. The higher profile is all positive on a bike with so much torque.

That doesn't surprise me, Bridgestone makes darn good tires. Boy, I bet that Metz wears out quick, huh?

Metzlers are a better bet where it's cooler and damper - Where it's drier and warmer then Avon. But if you're heavy handed BOTH of these can easily be made to overheat where it's REALLY hot. The Bridgestone I've yet to try - I met with Darth Vader and was convinced to attempt a different lifestyle.

Oh that's the LBGT/DS lifestyle

Not to worry there are a bunch of them coming out of the closet now

I just googled 250/50-16 and found a whole bunch of posts asking if that size would fit their car. I never new that people were running bike tyres on cars, what next?

Turn-a-bout is fair play. let's see if we can get a "discussion" cars running MC tires. After all it does reduce the rolling resistance due to the weight reduction and contact patch. This should improve fuel milage and strain on the motor.
