2025 dual 02 sensor elimination

Got a 2025 storm with dual 02 sensors. Got a competition works exhaust which only has a spot for one sensor. Is there any way to bypass the second 02 sensor or remove them completely so I can use this exhaust or am I out of luck.

I don't think so but you could have a second bung for the other 02 sensor added. Find a weld shop that will weld it in for ya.

Doesnt one of the sensors check the exhaust glasses after the cat? to see that its functioning? if you removed the cat, it might be a problem? Another reason I bought a non storm '24.

yes
the rear o2 sensor produces a signal that is sent back to the ecu to tell how well the cat has done its job
also there will be a 12volt o2 heater circuit that will set a code if not hooked up.

only if you can turn the second o2 sensor off.
the voltage on the 1st o2 will bounce up and down or more or less around .45
now if you can read the 2nd o2 sensor (either on your bike or on a late car with after cat sensors)
then my idea would be to piggy back onto the first sensor with the heater wires and then piggy back a resistor into the wire to try to match the voltage going back
to the ecu on the 2nd o2 sensor. that voltage should be between .0 volts to about .3volts guessing but it would be nice to know .
the manual might give an acceptable working voltage
the voltage on the 2nd o2 sensor has got to be less than the voltage on the front sensor so that it shows that it is working

Just an update the legends at bt moto were able to bypass the cat sensor in the software. I am now running a competition werks exhaust on a 2025storm with the cat sensor fully removed

Hi, I have the same problem. I bought a Rocket 3 storm 2025 with a double o2 sensor and a Werkes exhaust with a single sensor. Can this problem be solved remotely, or did you have to solve it in person? I'm asking because I'm from the Czech Republic. Thanks
