That VIN has one or more digits wrong. The checksum fails. Check your spelling.

”Safety recall” is a generic term for, well, recall. It’s not meant to be taken as a description of the nature of the work. Triumph uses a broad definition and by and large is extremely cautious. Surely it’s better they recall sometimes trivial things than go the other way and ignore more serious problems.

@Larry_M As a general rule, only the last 6 digits of your VIN are used by Triumph, especially for ordering parts or warranty claims and recalls. Yours falls outside the range for this issue.
