I was in the dealer's last week and he said that Triumph will be announcing a new Rocket in 2018 allegedly with a 2700cc engine. I know we've all heard tales before but thought I'd relay this just in case.

Hmm the last time it was 2500cc. I have asked every dealer (and some other contacts) I can here. Triumph are saying nothing. And Spain is where Triumph pretests their bikes. Unless it is a DEALER PRINCIPAL of a core Triumph dealership who tells you - it's rumour.
The couple who were prepared to venture an opinion say it will have to pass Euro4 and that means anti-tamper ECU's. Full regulated cat's (before/after Lambda). And also they hope it consumes less or simply they will not sell here. Fuel in Europe is NOT cheap. And it is set to get worse. NO? Just watch.
On a personal note - I hope they make some sensible tyre choices. Z (W) rated you twits.
Whatever - I would not trade up just because it's there (assuming it is). By the time I had it running as I want - I'd need a stroller to get to the garage.
