Okay so I have another minor warranty issue.

Lots of little tinkery issues with this bike thus far

1. Saddle bag lock malfunctioned and needed tightened
2. Fog lamp wasn't tightened enough and fell over while riding
3. Missing the grommet around my key ignition
4. Wobbly foot board

At least ill have a list for the dealership :)

Odd indeed. I'm a hair over 10k and not a single issue.

All of those issues sound like dealer set up problems. Although there certainly are exceptions, it seems many problems folks have with these bikes can be traced to poor set up by the dealer.

Hey lads;
I just noticed that my foot rest on the brake side wobbles back and forth yet the clutch lever side is stable.

Is this normal or should it also be stable on the brake side.

Cheers

I just checked the floorboards on my 14 touring. I don't have a wobble on the brake side floorboard.
Of course give your concern to the dealer, you pay enough for the this machine. It should be cheery

Are one of the pivot location in the casting cracked on the foot board?

Edit just to add..

If one of the pieces on the casting with the holes for the pivot pin cracks, a small piece can fall off, and then you get the movement of the board sliding a little.

Ill have a look tonight. Regardless its a warranty issue at this point. The consensus seems to be "isn't supposed to wobble"
