2014 R3R MPG and Maintenance...

Stats for my 2006 RIII Classic for the last 11,397 miles:
Ave MPG 35.372
Minimum MPG 30.994
Maximum MPG 39.850
$/Mile $0.099
$/Day $2.51
Average Gallons/Fillup 4.88
Miles/$ 10.1237

No, I am not super nerdy (although some still debate that), but I have an app called aCar which tells me all those sort of things for all my vehicles.

btw, those are American gallons. If you want to convert it to real gallons or from CofE to RC then you can do that yourself. :D

I get pretty close to 6.75 L/100KLMS over a long period. I think riding into the wind is the biggest factor affecting fuel economy under 140kph.

I never worry about figuring out the actual mileage.....when the gas light comes on I fill up. It normally costs me around $20 for an afternoons ride.....great value in my opinion.

I managed to get 43mpg (UK) yesterday doing entirely motorway stuff for just over 200 miles, there were some annoying 40mph sections and the rest was 70-80mph...best yet for me. Worst has been a smidgen over 26mpg where there is no consistent speed and lots of gearbox work.

My current average for just under 5K miles is 0.18p / mile

I use Fuelly (http://www.fuelly.com/motorcycle/triumph/rocket_iii_roadster/2013/kaivalagi/223041) to track my fill ups, worth a look! There's also an Android app too...
