my 20 ton press was at it's max with a heated up collar
just about give us a heart attack when the collar finally came loose and moaned and groaned the rest of the way.
i managed to put another pinion assembly in it.
wouldn't recommend anyone doing this.
if you buy one on ebay remember groved one is for early drive shafts and with out grove is later/bigger splined drive shaft.
and if you can pry the pinion up any amount other than zero the final drive is junk.
