2010 Rocket Events

yep my vote also
skip the party was better than before :D still got your jar

For what it's worth I live on 4 acres and have 3 acres of mowed grass area that is pretty flat and would be good for camping. It's fenced and I could probably park 50 bikes comfortably on the paved driveway. Our home is in Springdale, Arkansas which is about 45 minutes to an hour from Eureka Springs. You're welcome to consider it in planning.

Really appreciate the offer, but once I left the army I swore as long as a motel was within a days riding I would not stick my butt in a tent ever again.:D

I thought there was a Kentucky event gonna happen with all the different snake rides this spring?
I don't care I just thought it was in the works.
Of course I understand that was before the committe thing.
Kentucky snakes just sounded good to me.
Ill go either way.I know Steve already did the leg work on that one.
Thank you again Steve for all your work:D

no problem STB a location for the spring event has not been decided the venom trails in KY trip is one of the many options proposed We should have the location nailed down soon. You know you.rainman and any one else on the forum. are alway welcome to come visit and stay with myself and katie for a long weekend we have plenty of space We love to show guest around our beautiful state I have 10 full weekend rides ready and waiting for visitors the only cost to you is gas and food. I will even do the cooking.

Thank you Steve.
Ime sure someday we will make the trip.
Right now we are still trying to work on the repo trailer we bought to put on our property.Repo being the operative word here.Lots of work. Its about like starting from the ground up.
I havent even had a chance to get to Celina to see my other boyfriend and get fried pickles.:(
We need to take a weekend off.......
But back to topic......Anywhere for the spring run is great for us......
You know we will be there:)

Steve,

Looking foward to seeing what y'all have planned for the 2010 events. We'll try to make one or both depending on other circumstances.

Amanda and me might also have to take you up on one of those long weekends in the spring.

Looking forward to seeing Katie in a couple of weekends... too bad you can't make it.

I know this is along way off, but Ocean City's bike week in Maryland is HUGE, and there were only three of us (that I saw in a week) with R3's. I don't have the exact date, but it's always right around 9-11. They pushed it back one week this last year so it didn't fall on 9-11.
It was AWSOME, since there is just one main drag through town you can sit alongside and watch thousands of bikes roar by. There is never a problem with lodging, most of OC is seaside hotels anyway. Going back over the bridge to the mainland gets you out of the noise and a couple miles away is one of the nicest camp grounds I've ever seen.
I highly recomend it, perfect time of the year too ... not too hot, not too cold.

All of the RAA events have been in hilly country, Nashville area, Eureka Springs , Maggie Valley NC. I think that most of the participants at these rides enjoy the hills and bends if I could ban all other bikes from the road while we are riding it would be even better:D Now come night time then we have our fair share of sitting around or in some cases even lying or crawling around looking for pizzzzzza.:D
