2009 shifter and brakes

Are the controls on the 09 adjustable?

I am looking at an 09 since the pegs were moved back 100 mm and down 20mm. It looks like they are forward, since they are compared to the pics I have from on line.

The owner is telling me they can be adjusted back.

Since I am 3 hrs away, I need to confirm before I take the ride to buy the bike.

Any thoughts ??

They're not adjustable. You either need to swap them for a Roadster set up or get some engineering done. It's one of those things that you have to wonder what Triumph was thinking. First they decide where to put them, then in 2010 decide that everyone wants them somewhere else. Could easily have offered both positions as an option. Or better still, made the bloody things moveable - they're on rails after all. But no.
 

My thoughts are unless the Owner is running Raask rails .. he's a liar i'd be wary of anything else he told me about the bike. Loads of Rockets for sale (assuming you are an American) .. buyer beware hey !!!
 
Now we are cooking with gas. Looks like the pegs were moved back and down in 2010. thanks all for the help !!

Maybe a set of Raask's !! Or just a 2010.
