2000mile in 2 weeks

Mexican stares at bricks on the interstate.....

He hasn't missed one yet....:p

Just remember LOOK where you want to GO:D..and not what is in the road....

Oh...an I did not say this on here.........

Went down the West coast to Bordeaux then into Spain via Pau and the D934 amazing views and a good road for a bike, plan to go over that way :D
Came up the east coast on the way back, not as interesting till you turn inland. I went through the Lott valley and over the Millau bridge, 80mph on a autoroute with the footboards scraping on the deck round the bends (scared a few cars I think)

Both ways have good bits but the D934 over the Pyrenees is amazing.

Have fun

I'll second that bit about the road over the Pyrenees bein' amazing; used to do it years ago to get to Zaragoza from Spandahlem, DE. Dropped a Shadow 500 up at the top of the Pyrenees in a tiny town and dislocated my shoulder; crunched the brakes to avoid getting pushed off the road and locked up over a patch of gravel. Ran into an American doc from near my hometown in Jersey; the fella was ecstatic to find someone that spoke English...though i wasn't in the mood for carefree banter at the time with my arm still not back in it's socket. Truly gorgeous road though, from what I remember....
