the detent wheel or the wheel with bearings that drive the detant wheel? Can you post of a picture of both?

Air gun and 22mm? peen that nut when you reinstall

Oh BTW: During tear down I found the MAP sensor vacuum hose disconnected at the junction joint. What might this do to performance ?

I think you knocked it off before you saw it. Youre gonna have to keep an eye on them fat fingers of yours Are you running that dobeck system ?
