I thought you were being serious at first. I thought you were talking about a hand impact driver.

You put the proper bit in, then hit it. It not only jars the threads as you hit it there is a twisting force generated.

Snap On are supposed to be good but I've had a few break when stressed and I've had others twist off. I've also had some Proto torx bits break. It's hard to find that balance between too hard and too soft. If you find one brand that works and doesn't break/twist, horde it. Lifetime tool warranties mean nothing when a tool breaks right in the middle of a job.

Got the head off. Had to use a bolt extractor for one of the cam ladder bolts. Got it out without damage except to the bolt.
