I believe he and a few other here commissioned BST to make an 18" CF rear, can't remember the width though.

Well,the 10" wide rim is the ideal size for a 280 tyre but it also works good on a 9.5" rim.
If need be i can get a stock wheel modified to take a 280x18 Metzler.
Maybe just a case of notching and strengthening the stock arm :?

I think it will be really tight. I take it you will keep it shaft drive then?

Yep. I probably have only 1/4" between the tire and the shaft.

I think you would need a SPACER on the LH side at least, and possibly a notched or widened swing arm. It would be very cool. It would also get expensive fast. But anything can be done.

That would be some job making stock wheel 2" wider & 2"bigger diameter
That will need S/arm scolloped out, just about enough room, I was looking at doing that sometime ago,(thats why I have a couple of spare S/arms) but decided against it,I now have C/F 8.5"x 18 with 250 Cobra that is max tyre width recommended for 8.5"rim, & C/F 8.5"x 18 240 Cobra to go on front.
