I have welded bungs top and bottom. I had my fabricator friend make the risers the tubes were cross drilled, welded from the sides and at the ends and lathed to clean up the welds and make the top and bottom perfectly flat. I reused the bottom bolts which threaded right in. It was a PITA to find Allen head m10x1.25 bolts for the top. I found some thin brass washers to fill in where the stock washer was and there is a big steel washer for the base. I'm not saying my risers can't be bent but I'd bet I could bend some handle bars of equal length just as easily if not more easily . My original plan was to weld some square tubing to fill the gap. I may still do this.

Remind us again what holes these bungs will be used for?
