07 Mulberry Tins & exhaust

gr3wolf,

Picked up the new R3 last night. The dealer had it ready with training wheels, streamers on the handle bars, and a ball squeeze type horn as a joke. They made a big deal about the pickup. It felt really good on the ride home. I have the same set up as b4 with the cat bypass and two TORs on the right side (left side is capped off at the collector)

I will be putting on some miles this weekend.

Enjoy your upcoming trip and make sure you give us updates.

Really glad to hear you got your new bike...not sure what you mean about having only two TOR's? :? Please be careful, but have fun. 8)

It was great today getting the R3 all shiny and ready for a breakin ride. The thrill and grinning is still there. I went with the CAT bypass box and capped off the left hand port of the collector myself using a 1 1/2 inch copper cap from the local hardware store. This was a quick and easy way to eliminate the left side pipe and just go with the 2 on the right. I prefer that look to the 3 pipes.

John,

I was concerned about that when I first tried capping it off. Put 3,700 miles on the bike with that setup and did not experience any trouble.

I would be interested on knowing how you put 3700 miles on the bike in the space of about 40 hours
It's a red bike, and red bikes are the fastest. You see, a Rocket, especially a red one, is like no other bike in the world, and it possesses special properties which allow it to violate the know rules of science an physics. 8)
