  3. 2005 Rocket Speedometer jumped 80,000 miles instorage

    Ok I know it seem nuts but I have a few battery issues and finely replaced the battery. When I put it away for the winter it had 6260 miles on it took it out and it now has 86,000 + Can the spedo Glitch from an battery issue? :mad:

    Storage stand

    I was just on another forum (VTX) and there was a discussion about this stand... Brute Motorcycle / ATV Stand Anybody use anything like this for the Rocket. I know the frame doesn't lend itself well to jacks and stands but wondered what others do for storage.

    winter storage

    Is it necessary to go thru all the steps listed in the owners handbook on page 97 for winter storage. I'm able to store my bike in a heated bldg. all winter long. Will starting the bike weekly be enough? Markc
