Since one of my hobbies is photography I'm always looking for better lighting, a different angle, more reflections off the pitch black paint or chrome. Here's another capture, while the bike is still clean & shiny. 1250 miles on the Beast now.
Installed Flip's SS radiator insert yesterday. Before installation I removed the chrome screen, sand blasted it, and painted it black. I'm very happy with the result. Here's a couple of shots after the install.

I took a 200 mile ride yesterday with the distinct purpose of pushing the limits of the gas tank. Previously I'd ridden 181 miles to where the digital gauge told me I was out of gas. When I filled up, however, I only needed 4.5 gallons to fill up the tank. That tells me the gauge isn't...
I've had my R3T for 12 days now. I've only ridden 5 of those days. 1000 miles this morning !!!
This bike continues to impress me. I have since fitted the Long Haul dual seat with the backrest. I have also put on the Triumph front dresser bars with some Kuryakyn offset pegs. I've also...
I have seen on a site the the solo rack requires the chrome fender rail covers however when I go to triumph site it makes no mention nor is it offered so I am a bit confused. the part number it says I need is A9758075 so in the end I am trying to figure out why I would need it if I do in fact...
Anybody got a line on something less expensive?
The service manual from triumph is like $90 ! Little expensive for my taste.
But I like todo my own service and having the schematics and such is great.

Hello to all. I'm a new Rocket Touring owner having traded in my 04 Honda VTX1300 with 30,000 miles on her. I am stunned with the performance and handling of my TR3T not to mention the absolutely fabulous styling. I came within $300 of being a Harley Street Glide owner but the Triumph won out...

I couldn't stand it anymore. My new bike's been sitting in my garage more than a week without me being able to ride. Arghhh! I finally decided to ride it to work Saturday afternoon. I needed to make a noontime drug prescription pickup and decided to swap vehicles for the return trip to work...
I finally got the time to take my R3T to the dyno yesterday to see how the new Tuneboy tune was working. The results were pretty good, 110HP/140TQ. However the bike was running too lean (approaching 16:1), above 5000 RPMs.
I sent Wayne a copy of the dyno sheet and when I woke up this morning I...
