  1. Recommended Tune for 2011 R3 with TORs?

Hi, I have a 2011 R3 Roadster. The aftermarket TORs exhaust should be arriving today, and I'll have it installed by this evening. I won't be doing anything to the catbox, etc. Any recommended tunes? The last six digits of my VIN are 473885. Would you recommend 20355? THANKS :)
  2. Anyone Chg out the handlebars? How about for Tbars?

Thunderbike's website states "We have not fitted these to a Roadster ourselves as yet and can't guarantee the fit on this model. Feedback we have had on Roadster fitment is that a new instrument relocation bracket will need to be fabricated." Not sure if you have the roadster or not, but did...
  3. Anyone Chg out the handlebars? How about for Tbars?

Very nice looking bars! Did it require any modifications, longer cables, etc?

  5. How much would you pay a dealer to Tune ECU?

Thanks for the responses. I think it's a bit high myself. I just ordered the cable from amazon. I'll give it a go!
  6. How much would you pay a dealer to Tune ECU?

Hi, This is related to my previous thread. The TORs are on the way, and I need to get the ECU tuned properly. There is a ton of information on this board, so chances are I’ll do it myself. But, I did call the local dealership who stated it would be $90. Does that sound like a fair...
  7. Recommendations on the most "bang for your buck" exhaust (loud)?

Thanks for listing the stock number (A9608077) above. I did a search on ebay and found a new set for $375. Not to bad. ;) I'll give the TORs a shot for now. Thanks again everyone.
  8. Recommendations on the most "bang for your buck" exhaust (loud)?

Honestly, I was hoping to spend max $500 on an aftermarket exhaust. It's not like that's being cheap....;) I know it's not going to sound like a v-twin, but anything is better than stock. :D This weekend I took off the right side muffler, and gave the throttle a couple of revs (just a couple...
  9. Recommendations on the most "bang for your buck" exhaust (loud)?

Good point :). I updated my profile to indicate Aurora IL. Thx
  10. Recommendations on the most "bang for your buck" exhaust (loud)?

Thanks for the responses. I have a 2011 R3 roadster. I believe that CAT is separate from the muffler. The bike has plenty of power, so I'm most interested in a louder bike. I conducted a search and couldn't find any online stores selling the TORs exhaust. Are they only available at the...
  11. Recommendations on the most "bang for your buck" exhaust (loud)?

Hello, I'm really enjoying my Rocket 3, but it's the scooter sounding exhaust I NEED to change. My previous bikes (vtx1300, stryker, high-ball, etc) all had aftermarket exhaust systems. They all sounded great, and best part, they all could be found for from $300-500. I've read so many great...
  12. Performing oil change, Anyone have the washer part numbers??

Hi, I picked up a new (new to me) 2011 Rocket 3 roadster. I'd like to change out the oil. I've done a little research, I believe 3 washers need to be replaced. One for the oil tank, and two for the sump pumps. I'll change out the o-ring as well. I have the parts descriptors: (1) Washer...
