Anyone try to put carbon fiber over their bearclaw? This mod is purely cosmetic.
I've seen people do this for interior car trim.
Seems pretty straightforward.
Anyone ever try these?

Honestly, I simply run the lights that skip me but if this device works, I'll get one.
Thanks
Got my tire off no problem.
New tire and balance.
Putting it back on wasn't hard.
BUT...
How far should the gear slide into the left side?
I have the caliper and spacer on and tight but it seems there are some ridges that the hub should slide into further.
Please, any immediate...
If you are getting tired of ruing shoes and boots like I do, here is a great product. It is a shifter sock. I ride my bike to work as much as possible and I've ruined more than a few pairs of shoes. I used to wear a sock over my shoe but it looked dorky.
The reason I am touting this product...
Got to put on a new rear tire. I thought I might save a few bucks and take the rear tire off and drop it off at a shop for mounting and balancing.
How hard is it to remove the rear tire?
In other words, is the effort worth say $30?
thanks
I was able to add some forward pegs using the stock rail. I purchased some short Kuryhakyn offset footrest mounts (P/N 7996) and 1" mounts. It give me 4-5" more of leg stretch. I know that's not much but to me it makes a huge difference.
I'm not a floorboard type nor do I like highway bars...
Anyone ever try adding "clamp-on" pegs to the stock bracket just forward of the brake and shift pedals?
I'm thinking that it could be a simple solution to allow for a little more leg stretch.
Thanks
