Pegs on the stock rail?

Anyone ever try adding "clamp-on" pegs to the stock bracket just forward of the brake and shift pedals?

I'm thinking that it could be a simple solution to allow for a little more leg stretch.

The diameter of that pipe is pretty small, an adapter would probably have to be made to fit up most aftermarket pegs, but it most certainly could be done I would think..

Someone herein recently was applying a set of Honda (Gold Wing, Valkerie) pegs. Those mount to the horizontal section of Honda engine guard.
