Decat Pipe. Do I need a tune?

Hey there
First post here. I have just decatted my exhaust to make it sound better. Should I tune the ECU?

a couple of weeks ago I unleashed the beast using the tune ecu unrestricted map. But beside of it, I have no knowledge and wouldn’t know from where to start in this case

From everything I've ever read it seems retuning is not nessary

As long as the O2 sensor is still there, you are good.

Thanks for the feedback guys. The o2 sensor is still there so I guess I won’t be changing anything

The unrestricted map will work with the decat. It will probably run too rich in the low revs. But that won´t do any harm.
Mid and high range will be good.
As the O2 sensor is mostly deactivated to not interfere with the improvements, it will not be able to make any adjustments.
