Does this thing ever wake up?

i do, it just shuts throttle down by itself.
So it’s 50% throttle, not related to rpm? You haven’t had the first service? If you did, there’s nothing in the tune in sport mode that would keep you from doing 0-60 in 3 sec. It sounds like you’re hitting a limiter but not the rev limiter but even if Triumph has a restriction during the break-in period, it shouldn’t be there after.

Just been thinking on your issue, go into your modes and look at which MAP setting each mode is configured to. With what you're describing your bike may be set up with Rain MAP for throttle response in each mode.
Get in there & have a look, or at least configure Rider Mode to how you'd like it & see how she goes with those settings. If it still chokes after 50% throttle, there's something else amiss with your bike, have the service dept sort it under warranty.

Id be calling my dealer first thing in the morning. I don't know if they limit you the first 1000 miles because I took it easy until I got past that mark but there should be no reason if does what you are saying if its not being limited in any way. At 4000+ rpm you should be hitting peak torque not dropping off.

Thanks everybody for replying. It just seems very unusual that they advertise all this badass power, then you buy one and its turned so far down that it almost is a burden in traffic. Cant move fast enough to get around people. I could see turning it down for the first 1000 miles for warranty sake. But i am really disappointed at this point. Love the bike to death but really Triumph? I am really surprised Triumph wont sell you the program to turn it up. Kind of like buying cable t.v. and ooohhh you want watch a movie too. Pay up sucker.
Something don't sound right, never heard such a thing from a new rocket owner. Even straight out of the store those bikes are monsters!

I am at 700 miles. Its probably operator error...me...my dealership is 50 miles across Houston. Not going there. It is probably me, i suck at these computer bikes.

I guess give it till you hit 1000 miles and see how it goes. I've seen a couple videos of the rocket vs the diavel and the rocket is only slightly slower. I'm 4 bills and it hauls my ass around with ease. Hopefully its just some kind of break in restriction.

I didn't have any break in restriction. I did the first service myself, and no dealer hook up to the computer. I actually called them to check and they said the little service wrench was just a reminder, and had nothing to do with any kind of limp mode or anything. I was worried the bike would need the dealer to unlock full power after first service, but doesn't seem like that's the case

i would lift the tank and check for kinked/or pinched gas lines.
or something like that.
probably only getting half the gas. i would be careful twisting the throttle above the pulling speed because you will be leaning it out so possible it might burn a valve.

Technically i havent done the first service but the bike started leaking oil out of the water pump weep hole 270 miles in. So the oil has been changed.
