Does this thing ever wake up?

Mine pulls harder than a schoolboy all the way to redline. Only having 500 miles on it you won't have seen the rev counter change to red yet. It's a settable thing for a shift light type of thing. At 4500 it's really starting to wake up, not fall flat - usually. Even at 200kph she's still accelerating hard - so I've heard Officer

Is this bike under warranty ? If so take to the dealer and have a look see.
