My '23 Rocket 3 with only 7500 km on the clock developed an oil leak... I first saw it below the bike on the floor. After cleaning the entire sump it is now clear - the oil comes from the sump itself and it looks like a casting issue. In the photo you can clearly see where the leak originates and then drips to the floor. Looking close up it really looks like a porous casting in the sump where the leak originates.... Your thoughts? Anyone else had such an issue?

Wow- I've never heard of something like that. If it happened on my bike (which does use oil) I'd never see it because it is no way that clean! I would guess that it's traveling to that spot from somewhere else. But with that spic and span cleanliness and if the drip is coming directly from there down to the floor, you may have diagnosed it. I'm also interested to hear if anyone else has ever had a bike with that issue. 😲

I had a 2005 speed triple first of the 1050 cc engines that had a porous cylinder head, it took triumph 9 months to complete the repair...
