You need to ride in corners harder and more. That tire I would not have changed yet. When you commute it kills tires. Most of my miles is back road canyon riding and some light traveling. So the sides are just about as worn as the middle. You need to get a highway tire seeing as you never seem to do anything but go on a stair line... Or is that tire says
So i need to ride in corners harder and more, umm ok. I ride my bike to the lake (flat) to work no corners. I just like my rocket why do I need to ride any different? I have thought about a lighter weight easy to manage bike that will be really good on gas and tires but not yet. As I said before I have tried expensive tires that were supposed to last a long time and they dont. Your tires on your rocket last 8-10k thats great happy for you. Those are 240's. Touring is 180 not that it makes a difference.

Like I said I get that much on my 500 ninja. My nighthawk and my rocket. I commuted on the ninja and got that life out of them.
At least tires are cheap... So is insurance. If you can somehow get more life... Great. But motor on worry less. Not like motorcycling is an expensive hobby like a boat....

I just got my shinko from chaparral motorsports, maybe revzilla, or just any site on amazon or ebay that has what i want at a good price.

Yours are wearing in the middle then whereas mine wear out on the edges. You must also like acceleration (why else own a Rocket?) and guessing you might downshift a lot too.

The best tire prices I've found are from Rocky Mountain ATV. Free shipping and I usually get them within 3 days.
Rocky Mountain ATV. YES!!! They are a great group. I happen to live about 5 miles from their warehouse in Payson, Utah. I can take my wheel and $50 and they will change the tires for me. And that includes beads or Ride-On in the tires, too. The cost of the tires are right decent, usually the lowest of anywhere else I check.
