Maggie valley June 2019

Andy, I learned a lot from you in Arkansas. That little rope you carry to dry the clothes (clothesline). Smart traveler

Some people don't need no stinkin' clothesline.

Went for a ride today and did the rattler. Great road but some of the best bits were just repaved and the fresh gravel was all over the corners. Like riding on marbles. Went through Maggie Valley and popped in to the Holiday Motel and chatted briefly with Rob. Decided to head back home to Tennessee via the Blue Ridge Parkway and stopped at a scenic overlook. Next thing I know Eric and Rick rode by and joined us (Peggy and I). We rode into Gatlinburg as a group before splitting up. The good times have begun.

When I said "cooler", I'm referring to neck coolers soaking in watertight bag. No ice chest, although I have loaded a saddlebag with ice and drinks a time or two.

T-shirts. Yeah, my closet is full of them. But I leave them home on long journeys. If it's the RIDE not the Destination then I want the ride to be free of dragging a trailer.

What size do you wear? I think I have room for a half dozen or so size large, if I can leave them with you @ MV.[/QUOTE
Newbies have to put up with comments about their cheap jackets
Oh no! Not the jacket. I hate new jackets. The breaking in sucks. I like my old $125.00 jacket. If I have to take a few jabs, I'll try to keep a stiff upper lip. As long as the snipe chasing is out...
