Please clarify "lost G-Man and Todd". My gosh did they pass away? Oh no......I'm going to get David's email/phone number from Jim. We keep in touch.
Yes, sadly Gary was diagnosed with cancer while recovering from his crash with "Gracie" or soon thereafter in 2009 I believe.
He was hardcore for sure and surprised all of us by showing up at Fontana Village in NC in 2010? as everyone was signing a get well/miss you poster.
He had gone off his chemo treatments to build enough strength to make the 850 mile ride there and back to Long Island. That is pretty bad ass!!
He passed soon after having fought a good fight.
One of my fondest all-time memories was riding with him through a long tunnel and our Jardines synchronized to create a harmonic resonance that seemed to
float ahead of us and surround us. We just smiled at each other in amazement.
I've actually tried unsuccessfully to fully reproduce that reverberation effect with other people.
Todd passed last October at the young age of 68. I believe it may have been cancer as well. Horribly, his son died 11 days later in a car accident I think. His wife Anne
was in Tahoe (flew out) as well.
I sent her what few pictures I had of Todd and their other son who rode Todds old Guzzi on the trip.
Sympathies go out to her and his family in this hard time.
Todd is the bearded gentleman in the center and Gary is far right. Picture includes some misfits (LOL) we picked up along the way west.
