    Twistgrip I had the same poblem at about 14 months, warranty refused. When I took it to bits the plastic was very plastic but then I still remember ones made of brass!!:rolleyes:

    Hid Hi Laraza, It looks good, I could do with getting one. I have the factory security on my R3T do you? as i am concerned it might interfere. Hope you're enjoying the weather!

    congrats R3T You bought the best. 2300 mile tour through France last year gave 40mpg to a Brit gallon (4.5 litres) my Dyna used to give about 45 on the same type of tour but a lot less grins and fewer pissed off sports car drivers! Enjoy!!

  9. Difficult mounting Stebel horn on R3T

    Couldn't make a good bracket so held it in place behind the LHS cover and close to rubber wrapped frame member and filled doubled plastic bag with Fireproof Builder's foam behind and under it to build a nest to hold it, nice and sweet. Eventually tied it down with cable ties. Seems to work. Out...

    R3T tyres also locked the Metzelers up twice, actually preferred the old bridgestones but Triumph sez!!!!!!!!!!

    R3T Tyre Pressures 36 psi front 41 rear clear clear clear if u r really loaded and also a fat b*****d too put another 1 psi. My experience is keep them accurate, any drop affects performance and, seeing as the dreammachine is not lightwieght, keep it close to the recomm. :D safe and...

    upside down Fink Rayjay must have had upside down trouble when he lost his pin.:D

  15. R3T heated grips

    heated grips hi same problem here in uk, useless plastic broke at 5000 miles, warranty refused, new grip about $90. course i'm an old fart thought it would be brass not plastic. Possibly made worse by risers requirinbg after market throttle cable:(:(
