What a great day.
The prevoius owner had mentioned he had the origional mirrors back home (other side of country) and he would drop them in when he was next over this way. Yeah no worries I thought, not worried if he did or didnt as I like the billet units my bike came with.
Mail bag showed up today, two origional mirrors enclosed, as well as a spare key he had forgotten he even had, AND 3 triumph patches he removed from his jacket.

Wait it gets better

I got out the saddle bags that came with the bike, bit dry and dirty so I grabbed the dubin (sheep oil for those that dont know it) and started giving them a really good clean.
Removed the stiffening liner and underneath was a Triumph pin - eagle in flight with the triumph across his claws.

Now I just have to get a vest to put them on.

I love it when a buy goes well and then just gets better.
:D

Glad it kept getting better and better....now go out and ride that 'thang.

If I ever sell my Rocket, I'm going to include my Paul Stanley riding manties with the deal. I know I could probably do better selling them separate, but I'd just feel better giving them to the new owner since they're already broke in with the Rocket's saddle.

P.s. "Manties" is USA speak for riding shorts. ;)

Did i ever mention that i lost a triumph pin...when i was in australia..it was an eagle in flight and it had triumph written across the claws :D
We should call you lucky buggar.....good luck
