    The heat shields have always been different between the R and GT to account for the possible leg contact with the headers in the forward position.. the Gt covers look better in my opinion.

    Yeah it’s an odd one, mine didn’t come on until she had 6k on the clock so it’s not normal, I’ll get Triumph to have a butchers in a few weeks, I know a bloke that had his clutch replaced on a new machine for this very thing!

    That was my first option and ordered the GT but the delivery date kept moving forward a month at a time so I changed my order to the R and fitted the heated grips GT seat and Bars. It’s an expensive way to do it but I’m not very patient and I’d already sold my previous Rocket.

    for me it was a little uncomfortable with the GT Bars and R seat, the r seat pushes you forward and with out the shorter bars make for a weird position. I’m 5”10’.
