  1. Good Buddies?

Well I was genuinely surprised. Thought it was a lot of cash for so simple a product - but not only did it kill vibration these things actually made you feel more connected to the bike - the bars just fill your hands... Strange but true! HH
  2. Good Buddies?

Hi, Just took a look at these - anyone else tried them? HH
  3. Heated Bike Gear

Yes the Gerbing stuff is good too.... the main difference with the gloves as far as I'm aware is that the Keis ones are actually pretty good protective gloves quite apart from the heated part - for instance, unlike most winter gloves they have lots of hard armour and extra leather... First time...
  4. Heated Bike Gear

I know Triumph do a set of heated grips...but I decided to try some heated gloves and a bodywarmer.. These ones discussed here... http://bigbikemad.com/keis-heated-motorcycle-clothing.html Hedgehog
  5. Visor and Helmet Cleaner

    Interesting! Thanks guys. HH
  6. Visor and Helmet Cleaner

Just started using this, although of course it's been out for ages. Very fast and effective (whatever it is). Big Bike Mad: Motorcycle Reviews, Guides and Gear What do you guys use? Dave PS works well on the Triumph OEM screen.
  7. Redant Cleaner

Hi Guys Just tried this new cleaner stuff. Pretty good - especially the polish. Anyone else tried it? :?: http://bigbikemad.com/redant-bike-clean.html HH
  8. Rev'it Leather Jacket

Bought a jacket for She Who Mus Be Obeyed recently....and she kindly wrote me a review of it! It's a thing called the Roamer by Rev'it. Really lovely quality. And the jacket's not bad either. http://bigbikemad.com/revit-roamer-l...et-review.html The jacket is available in a Men's version too...
  9. Blast Off with the Rocket III

Well we've completed our test and review of the Rocket..... and feeling pretty mixed about it. Some good points and some not so good. Got a feeling that, while its a good bike, Triumph could have done better... Love looking at it in the garage though. Happy to receive abuse / comments...
  10. Bags Connection Tank Bag

Its good stuff -though not cheap. The panniers are good on the right bike too: http://bigbikemad.com/bags-connection-blaze-panniers-review.html
  11. Bags Connection Tank Bag

Yeah, the new ones have a modified fixing system - no headstock strap at all now... just click on and off thanks to 4 point mounting system. Dave
  12. Exhaust Mod

This is a cheapie mod - just de-cat and then drill three holes in each baffle back plate. A dealer re-map finishes the job. It is reversible. Effect is to add a little db must mostly just some fruitiness and texture to the sound. Perhaps little more power and little worse fuel consumption...
  13. Air horn installation.

    Here's my attempt:
  14. Bags Connection Tank Bag

Hi Guys, Hope you're all well and right side up. Sorry for long absence - been touring Ireland again. Superb but not easy on a Rocket III! What a beast! Been thinking about getting one of those click on and off tank bags since I last went on tour and got fed up with the straps on my old Oxford...
  15. Ta-Ta Tax Disc for Brit Riders...

First October will see abolition of the road tax disc - part of motoring life for over 90 years in the UK. Here's a short article celebrating (or not) its demise... :p http://bigbikemad.com/ta-ta-tax-disc.html What do you lot think - is Ditching the Disc a Good Thing or a Bad Thing? :cautious:
