    Classic & roadster foot controls.

    Hi, it's am swapping my foot controls on my classic with a friends roadster, the roadster has ABS & a slightly different pipe set up. Bending the steel brake pipe to fit the roadster controls seems ok, but I'm having trouble with putting the classic controls on the roadster. Anyone already done it?

    Hi warp9.9, found the problem, it was a poor connection inside the newer modified plug! the pins inside are very small so ive bypassed the plug & soldered it for now, no problems since. Thanks guys.

    Thanks Charlie, I've cut a pair of relays from an old GSXR loom so may put them in for Dip & main, I quite like the keyless option too so I may look into that. I'm in Kent so not too far away for you to pop down lol.

    Does anyone have a wiring diagram for installing headlamp relays? Twice now my bike has refused to start & I've had to wiggle the ignition switch harness. Found this under the tank too.

    I bought from Triumph yesterday a brand new dual seat for a roadster for the same reason, they are selling them cheap £97 inc vat, it has the socket for the rider backrest but the backrests are now obsolete so the seats are cheap.     I did try an old Vance & Hines single pipe on it, it blew all the packing out & nearly shook the house down. I will repack it, but I'm just trying what I have in the garage.

    I have a set of triumph slash cut pipes but one of the three has rusted through. If I blank of one outlet of the decat pipe & run it with 2 pipes, am I likely to upset the gas flow much?
